A family owned and operated international mover for three generations, National Van Lines is a leader in the household goods moving industry. Incorporated in 1929, our history is rich with innovation and leadership. We were one of the first companies to establish an autonomous International Division to meet the growing need for international relocation services. We are licensed by the Federal Maritime Commission as a Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC). We are also a certified Registered International Mover (RIM).
We have the expertise and worldwide contacts to provide you with the highest quality international relocation service available today. National Van Lines, Inc. is an employee owned (ESOP) company and operated under the direction of Maureen Beal, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer. National Van Lines is proud to be an active member of the American Moving and Storage Association, the International Association of Movers (formerly Household Goods Forwarders Association), the Society for Human Resources Management, and the Employee Relocation Council.
National Van Lines has a tradition of giving back to our community. We sponsor the world-renowned artist, Wyland, who has dedicated his art to the preservation of the world’s oceans. He has completed life sized murals of ocean life throughout the world, with his equipment being transported in a dedicated National trailer painted by Wyland and serving as a ‘rolling canvas.’ Other organizations National Van Lines International is committed to include: Honor Flight Chicago and Move for Hunger.
